Colour in Green

‘Colours in Green’ is a photographic exploration of three gardens designed by Atelier Aarohi Bakeri, each amid winter transformation. My collaboration with Aarohi, a friend and the firm’s lead, allowed me to photographically interpret her unfinished works to capture the essence of potential and renewal within each space.

This project transcends conventional garden photography by focusing on the subtle interplay of colours and textures, emphasising the beauty in the evolving landscape. The choice of title reflects the diversity of the gardens’ flora and Aarohi’s architectural approach to landscape design. I aimed to highlight the intricate relationship between design and nature, showcasing the evolving beauty and the promise embedded within each garden. Through this series, I aimed to present a narrative of growth, potential, and the harmonious balance between human design and natural evolution.
