Marksbury House

Marksbury House, designed by Skala Studio and Karta Architecture, seamlessly integrates architecture with nature. The open-plan interior connects the kitchen to the garden, fostering a sense of flow between indoors and out. A pitched roofline and eight large roof lights bathe the space in natural light. The L-shaped rear extension features expansive windows that maximise sunlight and offer stunning views, including sunsets from the living area. Inside, bespoke cabinetry and a hidden desk add both functionality and elegance. The loft renovation includes a master bedroom with bi-fold doors and edge-free glass balustrades, creating uninterrupted outdoor views. Skala Studio’s design perfectly balances modern living and thoughtful, light-filled spaces.
