My Favorite Space: A Dialogue of Memories and Architecture

COMING SOON

This book accompanies the Domestic Dialogues exhibition and explores the profound connections between people and the spaces they inhabit. It features four edited interviews, each capturing an intimate conversation about the personal significance of a particular place. The project stems from a year-long journey where I photographed 70 individuals across 11 cities, delving into how spaces shape us emotionally and culturally.

Through these interviews, readers are invited to reflect on how everyday environments—from a chaiwala’s stall in Ahmedabad to the iconic Berliner Philharmonie—become vessels for memory, identity, and transformation. This book offers a deeper look into the stories behind the images, providing insights into the relationship between space, architecture, and personal history.
