Una Giornata Particolare
The intervention introduces a marble floor, a wireframe canopy, and a light structure that casts soft, layered shadows. This creates a quiet threshold where everyday rituals—like stepping outside with a coffee—become moments of quiet retreat. Though minimal in form, the space offers its inhabitants a sense of privacy in an otherwise visible urban setting.
The title draws from Ettore Scola’s 1977 film, where two strangers form a fleeting but meaningful bond on a Roman rooftop. Like the film, the project opens space for subtle encounters—between architecture and life, inside and outside.
This was the first time I returned to photograph one of my own completed designs—not to document, but to interpret. It quietly marks the beginning of my journey into architectural photography.
